Farm dinner, farm day or restaurant lesson: which pizza class
Three Sorrento pizza classes, three formats, and the kind of traveller each one fits.
Save your place at the farm table ↗The three classes
| Class | Best for |
|---|---|
| Farm pizza class with dinner | The lesson and a full dinner on a working farm |
| Farm tour, cheese and pizza lunch | Seeing the animals, crops and cheese-making as well as the pizza |
| Pizza lesson at a restaurant in the Sorrento hills | A shorter class, wheelchair access and pickup from a town point |
The farm dinner
The three-hour dinner class is the one this page is built around: a van ride, a pizza lesson, a farmhouse dinner with wine and limoncello, and tastings of the farm's products and olive oil. It averages 5.0 from more than two thousand verified reviews.
The farm day
The four-hour farm-tour option runs on the same farm and starts at 11:30. Before the pizza lesson you visit the animals, walk through the crops, see the vineyard, the citrus grove and the olive-oil area, and watch mozzarella and caciotta being made, then sit down to lunch.
Why the day suits families
A parent who came with two boys under eleven called it easily one of the best things they did on their trip: the animals, the play area and tossing dough kept the children busy, and the adults liked the farm information.
The restaurant lesson
The third class is a different business and a different room: a 90-minute workshop at a restaurant in the Sorrento hills with an English-speaking instructor. You make and bake a Neapolitan pizza in a traditional oven, taste olive oil and mozzarella, and finish with tiramisu, with wine and soft drinks included.
Access and transport
The restaurant lesson is listed as wheelchair accessible, which the farm class is not. Its pickup point is on Via Fuorimura, close to Hotel Plaza, with a meeting time 30 minutes before the class.
Choosing quickly
Pick the dinner class for the view, the meal and the farm setting; the farm tour for children and curiosity; the restaurant lesson for a shorter slot or for accessibility. Hen parties of ten have booked the restaurant lesson together.
